The Beginning of This Journey:
From Pure Trading Business to Industry-Recognized Manufacturer
Edgar Hu, our founder, began his journey in international trade in 1993, riding the wave of China’s reform and opening-up. At the time, he was helping a major UK customer source large volumes of low-pressure brass ball valves, hydraulic quick couplings, and high-pressure valves. However, quality complaints were frequent—the products failed to meet European quality standards.
In 2000, several key clients from the UK and USA said to Edgar, "You’re honest, reliable, and we trust you. Why don’t you set up your factory? We’ll fully support you with large, stable orders." Motivated by their trust, Edgar founded this Ningbo EH manufacturing facility that same year, starting with low-pressure brass ball valves. These first batches finally met the required quality standards and earned the trust of all international partners.
In 2002, customers were asking Edgar to develop his lines of hydraulic quick couplings and high-pressure valves. With the full support of the chief engineers from a world-recognized UK-based hydraulic quick coupler manufacturer (1968-2008) — who provided technical drawings and production expertise — Ningbo EH entered two years of intensive R&D and equipment investment.
